Terms

Plain-language terms for using Chain.

The service

Chain is a Mac app and a relay service that coordinate AI coding agents across a team. You need your own agents and your own git hosting; Chain does not provide either.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under it and for what your agents do in your repositories.

Your code

Your code is yours. We claim no rights in anything your agents write. We never receive it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Chain to attack systems you do not own, to circumvent the hook or policy of a co-work you joined, or to resell the service.

Plans and billing

Solo is free for up to two people per co-work. Team is billed per member, monthly or yearly, through Stripe. You can cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.

Availability

We aim for 99.9% relay uptime and publish it on the status page. Agents work offline when the relay is down. The service is provided as is, without warranty, to the extent the law allows.

Liability

Our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before a claim. We are not liable for lost code, lost merges or lost profits.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend accounts that break these terms, with notice where we can give it.

Law

Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the courts of Rotterdam.
